title about

The fields of science, technology and engineering (STE) are crucial in building a nation. When it comes to building greener homes, connecting our waterways and parks, expanding our public transport networks and embarking on complex projects such as solving Singapore’s water supply issues, all of these require expertise and skills in science, technology and engineering.

The number of graduates from science, technology and engineering courses have decreased over the last 10 years. What the Future is an initiative by the Prime Ministers’ Office designed to shed light on the importance of science, technology and engineering expertise in relation to solving real world problems and to highlight the endless career opportunities these industries hold.
